First off, Radcon is this weekend! I pre-registered a little while ago, so that's set aside! It's going to be so much fun! My cousin is coming into town and I haven't seen her since my birthday! We are having a little drinking gathering at my house Friday night so that will be exciting. It'll be interesting to see how many friends from the con end up coming over for a bit. We'll just have to figure out how to get everyone back in time for the rave!
I will also need to figure out what cosplays I am doing. I finished my Castiel cosplay, and I really just want to wear that! Ha ha! Originally it was going to be as follows: on Friday (Homestuck) I would be Vriska (mostly complete, all that is left would be making new horns or finding a new headband to attach the old ones, ripping the sleeve off of the gray shirt and a desire for getting a gray and spiderweb glove to have in lieu of traditional roboarm) or Kankri (complete aside from a desired repainting of horns), or both, doing a Vriska inspired rave outfit; Saturday I would be Seto Kaiba (complete aside from styling new wig, old wig is still great) and for the rave, Roxy; and Sunday I would either wear normal clothes or human!stuck or Seto again. Now it's back up in the air. I may be too lazy to put on troll makeup, ha ha. But we are having a little Homestuck meeting so I may do it. I'll have to figure out something before Friday...
Tomorrow is my last day of work until next week, so that's somewhat exciting! And do to jury duty (-_-) and doctor appointments next week I'll only be able to work two days! So, the next paychecks are not going to be too hot. Which is a little sad seeing as the first weekend of March ... I'M GOING TO EMERALD CITY COMICON!
I convinced my parents to take a trip up to Seattle/Snoqualmie for the weekend so that they can drive me up and house me in their hotel room so I can go meet Misha Collins ;D I got a three-day pass, seeing as it was $5 more than Sat/Sun day passes. Which ended up being a good decisions because both of my parents just took the 1st off
I'm so excited! There's Misha Collins, and the rest of the guests are great! I wasn't able to go last year so this will be a great treat, especially since I've decided I won't go to SDCC because a friend invited me to Otakon and I'd much rather see her!
At this point, I still don't think I'll make Sakuracon, but at least I'll get to go to ECCC
<3 I may meet up with a couple friends there, so that will be nice.
I also got invited to go out dancing not this weekend, but next weekend! Which should be great! I've been sick lately and I'm finally feeling better so as long as this weekend goes well I should be able to dance my heart out (and maybe drink a little) when we go to the club(s)!
A good chunk of the excitement is due to the fact I've been sick on and off since November and I'll finally be able to do stuff!
Oh! And the Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff I preordered from Japan (Joey kotobukiya figures, some shirts, wallscrolls, tumblrs and posters) should be shipping out around the end of the month
Though, depending on what becomes available, paying for it won't be so nice XD
The more personal stuff is below~
As for the money deal: my car is running good, my parents will fix my windshield once ,their trips to Seattle are over so that it doesn't happen again while the pass is still crappy, and eventually my dad will find the part I need for my door and we'll see if we can get that window fixed and go from there (it sounds like it'll be around $100 so that's not as bad as I originally thought); Radcon and ECCC tickets are paid for so I just need to pay for any food and goods I want (I've got $100 set aside for Misha) if any; depending on what preorders becomes will determine how much of the money I've set aside will go to use right away (I hope shipping isn't too terrible, but I bet it will be @_@;; once rates are available I may just pick the lowest or lowest w/insurance...); most of my medical bills haven't come in yet, I still don't expect to see them until March or April, we'll see how fast it goes through insurance (regardless I'm going to have my mom talk to insurance if most ends up not being covered 'cause I guess they're supposed to cover it but they don't always pay the doctors right away -_-), I have the chiropractic one but I pay that a bit as I go; and my next two paychecks will go towards my other bills (such as netflix, storage etc); and that about sums up that! I've got most of it figured out! Once the cons are out of the way and I'm officially better I'm going to look for another job and work towards saving up for Otakon and paying of any and all bills I get this year!
